In an excellent excerpt from his new book, Lee Iacocca asks “Where Have All the Leaders Gone?“

In it, Iacocca points out that the easy path of simply faulting “right-wing Republicans” or “liberal Democrats” is “an intellectually lazy argument,” and he establishes his “C-list” of qualities he says we need to learn to look for in candidates for 2008: Curiosity, Creativity, Communication, Character, Courage, Conviction, Charisma, Competence, Common Sense, and how one handles Crisis. 

What more can I say? It’s good advice.
