Sometimes what happens in a place that most people may not necessarily be paying attention to can act as a sort of barometer to the pressures that shape the climate of world events. I sincerely pray the people and the government of Myanmar find the wisdom and strength they need for an open, just, and peaceful resolution to the challenges now before them as a nation. Change need not be a terrifying prospect if it is faced together with a harmonious spirit.
