Happy New Year!

2007 is almost over already, and I just want to thank everyone for the amazing support this year!

Next year promises to be exciting one, and for me personally, 2008 may be the most important year of my life. I hope we’ll all be able to spend some time together next year, either in person or online.

Together, we really can make a difference not just in the upcoming election but for the good of all of Southwest Florida, America, and the World at large, and 2008 will be the year we prove that!

And before I sign of for the last time this year I want to thank the Veterans Support Group of the Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church in Fort Myers for hosting us at their meeting last night. We had a wonderfully frank, discussion about the challenges and needs facing our nations veterans, as well as issues of race, religion, and politics. (All those things that never seem to come up in “polite” politically correct campaign discourse!)

I hope we’ll all be seeing more of these gentleman in the near future.  A rebroadcast of the entire meeting will be playing on a loop here and justin.tv  (These can later be retrieved from the archive for December 31, 2007 starting around 2:15PM.) I’ll also be editing together a highlight video of the meeting in the next day or two.

I’ll be in downtown Fort Myers (The River District) tonight with camera in hand to record the ball drop. And, if I don’t see you there:

Happy New Year!
