As much as I hate the idea of having a flashing credit card logo on site dedicated to chasing the merchants of corruption out of the temples of democracy (metaphorically speaking, of course!) I have to confess I am learning the unfortunate necessity of having to ask for money to keep a political campaign going.

Now, more than ever, we need your support.

Our little experiment in democracy, Crazy for Congress, is in the process of morphing into a truly viable congressional campaign, Jeff George for Congress.

we’ve got to move beyond the comfortable circle of friends that have nurtured and help sustain our activities this far. and we need your help. We’re still committed to doing this without money from PACs and special interests, and in order for this to happen, we’re going to need the support of everyday working folks here in the district and elsewhere to step up and let the political establishment know it’s time for a real change.

Transparency, Integrity, and Accountability: maybe these aren’t such crazy ideals after all…
